Living Together by Xu Jiang
Chinese artist Xu Jiang's 'Living Together' (2012) sculpture is on display as part of the 'Re-Generation' exhibition at the Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau museum in Dresden, Germany. Over 150 works from Jiang are featured in the show which is a collaboration between the National Art Museum of China, the China Academy of Art, and the Dresden State Art Collection. The exhibition is on display until August 18, 2012.

Nelson the Kea parrot growing up
An orphaned baby Kea parrot named 'Nelson' who was abandoned by his parents bites a plastic bird prop at the Bergzoo Halle Saale in Germany. Since his abandonment, animal handlers at the zoo have been taking care of Nelson from hatchling to fledgling over the course of the past two months.

St. Nicholas Chapel fumigated by exterminators
Pests, vermin, and insects have invaded St. Nicholas Chapel in Wittorf, Germany, to such an extent that exterminators have wrapped the entire building in a rubber tent in order to fumigate the interior of the chapel and gas the unwanted invaders. The operation took place on May 12, 2012 and the chapel is expected to re-open later this week.
