Tallest LEGO tower built in Prague

A Danish LEGO engineer and a group of Czech volunteers broke the Guinness World Record for the tallest LEGO tower with a 32.5-meter construction in Prague, Czech Republic, on September 8, 2012. The building of the LEGO tower began on Thursday and took three days to plant the last brick on top of the tower, which was placed by Czech rowing gold medal winner Miroslava Knapkova who said, "I used to play with Lego as a small girl, when my father brought it home from abroad for me." The previous record was accomplished in Legoland Windsor, England, on July 6, 2012.Photo credit: AFP, Martin Divisek / isifa / Getty Images
