Pope Benedict XVI’s Neocatechumenal audience
Pope Benedict XVI raises his arms and gives his blessing at the conclusion of his special audience with members from the Neocatechumenal Way at the Pope Paul VI Hall, Vatican, on January 18, 2012. During the meeting, the Pope said, "The Church has recognized in the Neocatechumenal Way a special gift stirred by the Holy Spirit: as such, it naturally tends to insert itself into the harmony of the ecclesial Body." In the background, a Swiss guard in full regalia salutes.
