Mardi Gras in New Orleans
The King of Carnival, 'Krewe of Rex' motors their Jester float down St. Charles Avenue towards Canal Street during Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans, on February 21, 2012. The Rex Organization started parading their floats in Mardi Gras in 1872 and has influenced the tone and traditions of the event for over a century.
