Bjarke Ingels Group’s Heart in Times Square

Architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group has installed a sculpture titled, 'BIG ♥ NYC,' in Times Square which is made up of 400 LED tubes which depict a large red heart inside a 10' cube in time for Valentine's Day. When a sensor is touched, the heart pulsates and glows to the delight of passersby and pedestrians. The installation was unveiled yesterday and runs through February 29, 2012.
