Emma Stone’s grapeseed oil moisturizer
Citing her allergies which prevent her from using many over-the-counter cosmetics on her skin, actress Emma Stone revealed to Style.com that she uses grapeseed oil as her skin moisturizer. Emma stated, "Not to brag, but I have a lot of allergies. I'm seriously allergic to everything. I just use natural grapeseed oil from the grocery store on my face as a moisturizer. After the shower, I pat it on, and then I’ll use it throughout the day and at night. I pretty much smell like grape all the time.”

Pumpkin facial mask recipe
Is your skin in need of a little pampering? Try this festive pumpkin mask that helps
nourish skin, promotes healing, and leaves your skin smooth and bright. Pumpkins are chock full of important vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that boost collagen production, eliminate free radicals, and reduce redness. The honey in the recipe contains nutrients as well, but the most important thing honey does is kill bacteria that could be causing breakouts. Lastly, the sour cream has lactic acid, a gentle acid that will help remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin smoother and softer.
Ingredients
1/4 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 tablespoon honey
Directions: Mix the ingredients with a whisk until well combined and fluffy. Apply to your face and leave for 15-20 minutes or until dry. Rinse well. This mask will last a week in the refrigerator.
Jurlique Love Balm
I have a bad habit of biting and chewing on my lips sometimes and I absolutely need a lip gloss or balm on to keep myself from doing it. Recently, I purchased the Jurlique Love Balm which is made with vitamin E and olive, soybean, and safflower oils. It has an absolutely delicious tangerine scent but the downside is it doesn't taste like tangerines and more like the oils that it's made of.
The balm moisturizes my lips well but it doesn't stay on for very long. I found myself reapplying it multiple times during the day, but the tube offers a generous amount of 0.5 ounces. That may not seem like a lot but when it's something you're swabbing on your lips, you won't need a lot of product. The other great thing about this balm is you can use it anywhere on your body. It's not meant to be a body moisturizer, but if you don't have any hand cream in your bag, feel free to rub a little Love Balm on them. It doesn't feel greasy and the balm is absorbed quickly. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a balm that doesn't feel sticky or greasy and for the minimalists who prefer products with multiple uses.
Top 5 Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is versatile treatment for many ailments and health
conditions but here are my top five uses for ACV which I have tested myself.
1. Hair and scalp health
Did you know that our hair is mostly acidic? A normal pH range is 4.5 to 5.5, but most shampoos have a pH of at least 6.5, making them more alkaline. By using too many alkaline products for long periods of time, it can break down your hair and skin's natural protective layers, leaving it vulnerable to damage. Try using a rinse consisting of 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted with 2 cups of water. This will soothe your scalp, remove build-up, and balance the pH. It will also make your hair super shiny!
2. Bruises
Apple cider vinegar is an excellent anti-inflammatory. It will reduce swelling and redness by shrinking capillaries and providing nourishment to the affected area. If you have a nasty bruise, try an apple cider vinegar pack. All you have to do it pour a small amount of pure, undiluted ACV on a wash cloth and apply it to the bruise. You will notice a difference within an hour and the bruise will normally disappear within 1-2 days.
3. Digestion
The leading cause of acid reflux is actually caused by not having enough stomach acid to properly digest your food. Try drinking 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before your meals to help break down food particles and promote healthy gut flora.
4. Sore throats
With the winter months headed our way, we're more susceptible to the flu and colds going around. At the first sign of a sore throat, try gargling 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar in 1/2 cup of warm water. This will help draw out toxins and bacteria, as well as soothe your throat with nutrients and reduce pain and swelling.
5. Acne
Apple cider is wonderful for acne. It provides nutrients for your skin while drawing out toxins, reducing inflammation, redness, and killing bacteria. Try mixing a couple tablespoons with 1 cup of water and applying it to your face with a cotton ball. If you have body acne, try using a spray bottle or applying it with a washcloth in the shower.
