Selling colorful chicks for Easter in Beirut
Instead of painting eggs for Easter, vendors in Beirut, Lebanon, dye the feathers of chicks with artificial coloring and offer them for sale to passersby who are celebrating the Easter holiday next week.

The colorful chicks look really cute and they would be a delight to have for Easter. But i wonder if there are health hazards associated with painting the chicks. This is of importance because it would be against animal rights to paint the chicks with paint that contains hazardous chemicals.
