Baby pygmy hippo born in South Africa
A baby pygmy hippo named 'Harry' who was born at the Cango Wildlife Ranch in South Africa on March 22, 2012, was rejected by his mother so animal handlers at the conservation reserve have stepped in to rear Harry. The baby hippo is six days old and weighs 11 pounds but is expected to reach adulthood under the care of Toni Inggs, who has been feeding the baby with bottle of milk every three hours. Once Harry is three months old, he should be able to run around and feed himself.
