Snow melts near the Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis
Melting snow made a mess of the streets in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, near the Nicollet Mall on February 29, 2012. The mall opened in 1967 and Nicollet Avenue was recently named one of 'America's Best Shopping Streets' by U.S. News & World Report magazine.
